Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but unfortunately for the Prattville Lions, they weren't the ones who walked away with it. They took a serious blow against the Phoenix on Saturday, falling 105-65. Prattville just can't catch a break and has now endured 16 losses in a row.
Several Lions players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Donavan Brown, who scored 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Xavier Dunn, who scored 13 points along with six rebounds and three steals.
Prattville's defeat was their 19th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-26. As for Percy Julian, their victory bumped their record up to 13-14.
Prattville does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Percy Julian will head out on the road to face off against the Wildcats at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Enterprise will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak.
