Neuse Charter's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for North Johnston, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Neuse Charter's hitters will have their work cut out for them on Friday. North Johnston has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 9 strikeouts per game. It's a different story for Neuse Charter, though, as they've been averaging only 3.8 strikeouts. Will North Johnston keep running through batters, or will Neuse Charter buck the trend?

Everything went North Johnston's way against Neuse Charter in their previous meeting back in March of 2024, as North Johnston made off with a 14-1 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for North Johnston since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
