The Carver A&T Wildcats will head out on the road to take on the Perry Hall Gators at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Hopefully Carver A&T focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up seven on Wednesday.
Last Wednesday, Carver A&T lost to Dulaney at home by a decisive 47-33 margin. Carver A&T has not had much luck with Dulaney recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Jada McAliley, who scored 12 points. Elisah Guity was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
Meanwhile, Perry Hall scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Wednesday. They claimed a resounding 58-22 victory over Overlea on the road. That looming 58-22 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Perry Hall yet this season.
Carver A&T's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Perry Hall, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-3.
Carver A&T came up short against Perry Hall in their previous meeting back in December of 2022, falling 44-39. Can Carver A&T avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
