Cannon Falls put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They strolled past the Pine Island Panthers with points to spare, taking the game 65-51. The 65-point effort marked the Bombers' lowest-scoring matchup of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Cannon Falls' win was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-0. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.0 points per game. As for Pine Island, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-4 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cannon Falls will head out to square off against Byron at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Byron knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four contests -- so hopefully Cannon Falls likes a good challenge. Pine Island and Chatfield will compete for holiday cheer at 7:15 p.m. on Monday.
