Fordham Prep got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Matthew Kapfer out in front who dropped a double-double on 18 points and ten rebounds. That's the first time this season that Kapfer pulled down eight or more rebounds. Another player making a difference was Will Gregory, who scored 26 points.
Fordham Prep's victory bumped their record up to 7-2. As for St. John's Prep, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.
Fordham Prep won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Kennedy Catholic at 3:30 p.m. on December 30th. As for St. John's Prep, they will look to defend their home court on January 7, 2024 against Moore Catholic at 1:00 p.m.
