Faith Training Christian Academy dropped down to 6-2 on Tuesday, ending the team's five-game streak of wins. They took a 46-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bishop Noland Episcopal Day Eagles. Faith Training Christian Academy lost against Bishop Noland Episcopal Day in their previous head to head back in January, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 63-25 score last time.

As for Bishop Noland Episcopal Day, their win was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-1. The home victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 27.5 points on average this season.

Bishop Noland Episcopal Day's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Machen Cox led the charge by dropping a double-double with 16 points and 11 rebounds. Those 16 points gave Cox a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Kollin Jackson, who posted nine points and seven assists.

Looking ahead, Faith Training Christian Academy will challenge Mount Olive Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Bishop Noland Episcopal Day, they will square off against Christian Academy of Louisiana at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
