Two dominant players in Donald Collier and Francis Vogel are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Cahokia Comanches's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Jersey Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on January 16th. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Cahokia suffered their biggest defeat since December 8, 2023 on Saturday. They were dealt a 73-39 defeat at the hands of Columbia. Cahokia was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 49-25.
Meanwhile, Jersey ended up a good deal behind Civic Memorial on Friday and lost 54-39.
Cahokia's defeat was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 1-16. As for Jersey, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-12.
Cahokia was able to grind out a solid victory over Jersey in their previous matchup back in January of 2023, winning 66-59. Does Cahokia have another victory up their sleeve, or will Jersey turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
