Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Bishop McGuinness couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They fell just short of the Corvian Community Cardinals by a score of 52-50 on Friday. The Villains' loss signaled the end of their 20-game winning streak.

Corvian Community's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from RJ Moore Jr., who shot 50% from the field to rack up 19 points. Moore Jr.'s big performance that evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points. Andre Jackson Jr. was another key player, putting up eight points along with nine assists and four steals.

Bishop McGuinness' defeat dropped their record down to 27-3. As for Corvian Community, their victory was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 23-7.

Bishop McGuinness does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Corvian Community, they will welcome Queen's Grant at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Queen's Grant will roll in looking for their 15th straight win, something Corvian Community surely won't give up without a fight.
