Chillicothe has gone 9-1 against Jackson recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Cavaliers will be playing at home against the Ironman/Ironladies at 7:00 p.m. The timing is sure in Chillicothe's favor as the squad sits on three straight wins at home while Jackson has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.
On Tuesday, Chillicothe made easy work of Washington and carried off a 3-0 victory.
Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Chillicothe took every set by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-6, 25-15.
Chillicothe can attribute much of their success to Natalie Dudley, who had seven digs and six aces. That's the most aces Dudley has posted since back in September of 2024. Bradyn Smith also deserves some recognition as she had her first kills of the season.
They weren't the only good servers: Chillicothe was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 18 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in 12 consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, Jackson came up short against Hillsboro on Tuesday, falling 3-0.
The final score came out to 25-14, 25-12, 25-16.

Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Thursday's match: Chillicothe hasn't let much over the net this season, having averaged 6.2 blocks per game. It's a different story for Jackson, though, as they've been averaging only 0.7 blocks. Given Chillicothe's sizable advantage in that area, the Ironman/Ironladies will need to find a way to close that gap.
Chillicothe took their victory against Jackson in their previous meeting back in September by a conclusive 3-0 score. Do the Cavaliers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Ironman/Ironladies turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
