The University Trailblazers will venture away from home to face off against the Indianapolis Bishop Chatard Trojans at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.
As a matter of fact, University put up the most points they have all season on Thursday. They claimed a resounding 73-32 victory over Anderson Prep Academy. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Trailblazers as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

University relied on the efforts of Mackenzie Feeney, who made all 5 shots she took to post 11 points in addition to eight assists and seven boards, and Gabby Culp, who went 5-for-8 to rack up 15 points along with seven steals and five assists. Those seven steals gave Culp a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Sydney Culp, who shot 75% from the field on her way to 15 points and three steals.
They weren't the only ones working in the assist department: University was working as a unit and finished the game with 21 assists. They are 4-1 when they've passed the ball that well.
Meanwhile, it may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Indianapolis Bishop Chatard ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They skirted past Greenfield-Central 65-62. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Trojans have posted since November 14, 2024.
University better keep an eye on Olivia Berzai. She was instrumental in Indianapolis Bishop Chatard's win, dropping a double-double with 19 points and 14 rebounds. Berzai is on a roll when it comes to boards, as she's now pulled down ten or more in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Lilly Braun, who almost dropped a double-double with 14 points and nine rebounds.
The win was their first at home , bumping their record up to 4-5. As for Indianapolis Bishop Chatard, the victory got them back to even at 4-4.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: University has been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 36.7 boards per game. However, it's not like Indianapolis Bishop Chatard struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 36.1 rebounds. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
