The Jordan Red Jackets's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their sixth straight loss. They fell 67-55 to Columbus. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Jordan in their matchups with Columbus: they've now lost nine in a row.
Robert Hartford was his usual excellent self, scoring 15 points along with five rebounds for Columbus. The game was Hartford's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was De'andre Wooten, who scored four points along with five rebounds.
Jordan bumped their record down to 1-6 with that defeat, which was their third straight at home. As for Columbus, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 7-3.
Jordan will stay at home for another game and welcome Southwest at 7:30 p.m. on December 12th. Southwest presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Jordan in Georgia (Southwest is ranked 214th, while Jordan is ranked 489th). As for Columbus, they will head out on the road to face off against Lanett at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Lanett is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.
