There's no place like home for Babcock, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They breezed by Varsity Opponent to the tune of 45-15 on Friday. The Trailblazers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 matches by 20 points or more this season.
Babcock found their leader in sophomore Bryhanna Tressel, who posted 12 points and eight boards. The dominant performance gave Tressel a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Isabel Frey, who had eight points.
Babcock pushed their record up to 16-6 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home.
Babcock will welcome Donahue Catholic at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Donahue Catholic will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Babcock surely won't give up without a fight. Varsity Opponent has already played their next contest, a 38-12 loss against Triad Baptist Christian Academy on the 31st.
