After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Frost, Italy was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 43-18 margin over the Wortham Bulldogs. The Gladiators have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 23 points or more this season.
Italy found their leader in sophomore Tatum Box, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten boards. Another player making a difference was Alyssa Copeland, who posted eight points and four steals.
