On Wednesday, Payson didn't have too much trouble with Riverton on the road as they won 49-32.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Payson to victory, but perhaps none more so than Cheznie Roundy, who scored 17 points along with 6 assists and 6 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Quincey Mathews, who scored 12 points.
Payson now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Riverton, they now have a losing record at 2-3.
Payson is on the road again on Friday and play against Fremont at 7:00 p.m. on December 8th. Fremont comes in still looking for their first win of the season. As for Riverton, they will take on American Fork at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
