Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Regents walked away with it. They never let the Central Holmes Christian Trojans get on the board and left with a 12-0 win on Friday. Considering the Lions have won four matches by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Regents is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 4.0 runs on average over those games. As for Central Holmes Christian, they dropped their record down to 10-11 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Regents beat the Trojans by a score of 4-1 later that day.
