Indian Trail has enjoyed a two-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. The Indian Trail Hawks and the Westosha Central Falcons will round out the year against one another at 7:45 p.m. on Wednesday at. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Last Tuesday, everything went Indian Trail's way against Racine Horlick as Indian Trail made off with a 66-42 victory. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 35-14.
Mj Stackhouse was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 30 points and 13 rebounds. That makes it eight consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of Indian Trail's points. Aamir Neal was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
Meanwhile, Westosha Central waltzed into their matchup Tuesday with four straight wins but they left with five. They beat Racine Saint Catherine?s/Racine Lutheran by the very same score they won with last week: 83-52.
Indian Trail pushed their record up to 6-2 with that victory, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 25.08 points. As for Westosha Central, their victory bumped their record up to 5-1.
Indian Trail didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Westosha Central in their previous meeting back in December of 2022, but they still walked away with a 52-47 victory. Will Indian Trail repeat their success, or does Westosha Central have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
