Kaufer is 1-7 against the Cardinals since February of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Kaufer Seahawks will be playing in front of their home fans against the La Villa Cardinals at 5:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Last Friday, Kaufer came up short against the Longhorns and fell 51-42. Kaufer has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Despite their loss, Kaufer saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Matthew Mascorro, who scored 16 points, was perhaps the best of all. That was a full 38.1% of Kaufer's points, marking the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Joshua Russek, who scored nine points along with three steals.
Meanwhile, La Villa had to suffer through a rough 70-34 loss at the hands of the Longhorns.
Kaufer's defeat dropped their record down to 10-18. As for La Villa, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-24.
Everything came up roses for Kaufer against the Cardinals in their previous meeting back in January as the team secured a 82-49 victory. Will Kaufer repeat their success, or do the Cardinals have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
