B Johnson put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in March on Thursday. He struck out three batters over two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and not a single walk). He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one hit in seven consecutive appearances.

Johnson's effort led Dutch Fork over Brookland-Cayce and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
