The Sanger Apaches will venture away from home to  take on the Madera Coyotes  at 3:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few  runs on average (Sanger 2.2, Madera 2.8) so any  runs scored will be well earned.
On Friday, Sanger didn't have quite enough to beat Edison and fell  3-2. The Apaches have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

 The team  relied heavily on  Savana Cortez, who  went a perfect 4-for-4 with two  runs, one  stolen base,  and one  RBI. Those  four  hits gave  her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of  Malea Ricks, who  went 3-for-4 with one  stolen base and one  run.
 Sanger's loss dropped their record down to 17-7. As for Madera, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 17-7.
 Sanger skirted past Madera  2-0 in their previous meeting  last Friday. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Apaches since the  team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
