El Dorado is 7-2 against Clearwater since February of 2017, and they'll have a chance to extend that success  on Tuesday. The El Dorado Wildcats will look to defend their home court  against the Clearwater Indians at 7:30  p.m. One thing working in El Dorado's favor is that they have posted big  point totals  in their last five games.
 El Dorado pushed their score all the way to 60 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell  67-60 to Wellington. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game  on Tuesday (58), El Dorado still had to take the loss.
 Defeat or not, El Dorado got some senior leadership from  Logan Garner and  Chase Lesh.  Garner  scored 26 points along with five  assists and five  rebounds, while  Lesh.  scored 18 points along with five  rebounds. That was a full 43.3% of El Dorado's points, marking the fifth time in a row he's  earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Zac Jacobs, who  scored three points along with seven  rebounds and two  blocks.
 Meanwhile, Clearwater's recent rough patch got a bit rougher  on Friday after their fifth straight  loss. They were outmatched by Andale at home  and fell  70-39. While losing is never fun, Clearwater can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage  in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings  (they are ranked 237th, while Andale is ranked 68th).
 El Dorado's loss was  their sixth straight on the road, which  dropped their record down to 2-14. That rough patch can't be blamed on the team's  offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 53.7 points per game. As for Clearwater, they have  traveled a rocky road recently having  lost nine of their last 11 contests,  which put a noticeable dent in their 4-12 record  this season.
