Baseball Recap: Scotland Christian Academy Has No Trouble Against Living Water Christian

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Riverside Christian Academy, Scotland Christian Academy was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They put the hurt on the Living Water Christian Warriors with a sharp 17-2 victory. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Saints considering their two-run performance the game before.

James Sheffield was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. Sheffield is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: he's snagged at least one every time he's taken the field this season. Landyn Wallace was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while going 2-for-2.

Scotland Christian Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .697. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Living Water Christian only posted an OBP of .400.

Scotland Christian Academy now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Living Water Christian, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-6.
