There's no place like home for the Williams Vikings, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Saturday. They walked away with a 69-61 win over Rock Point on Wednesday. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Williams had a senior duo take command as Nickoli Cody scored 17 points along with four steals and JP Echeverria scored 14 points along with eight rebounds and six assists. Cody hasn't dropped below two steals for four straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Cade Trimble, who scored ten points.
Williams' victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-10. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.3 points per game. As for Rock Point, their loss dropped their record down to 13-9.
Williams does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Rock Point also has no future games currently scheduled.
