After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Marco Island Academy, Mason Classical Academy was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Naples Classical Academy as they made off with a 27-6 win. The Paladins have beaten the Academy the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Academy has come to flipping the script.

Mason Classical Academy let Brady Admonis and Jule Reid run wild. Admonis got on base in all five of his plate appearances with seven stolen bases and four runs, while Reid went 2-for-4 with six stolen bases, four runs, and three RBI. Hudson Weniger was another key player, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with four stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI.

The victory got Mason Classical Academy back to even at 1-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Mason Classical Academy will head out to square off against Lely at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Naples Classical, they will venture away from home to challenge The Village School of Naples at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
