Granville Christian Academy has struggled against Genoa Christian Academy recently, as their matchup on Thursday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Granville Christian Academy's defeat came about despite a quality game from Rhoads, who scored 13 points along with five rebounds and four blocks. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Rhoads has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Isabel Hamilton, who scored nine points along with eight rebounds.
Meanwhile, Liberty Christian Academy had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They walked away with a 29-20 win over Northside Christian on Monday.
Carr was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 18 points and 19 rebounds. That makes it 16 consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Liberty Christian Academy's points.
Granville Christian Academy's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-7. As for Liberty Christian Academy, their win ended a 11-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-15.
This contest is one where the number of possessions is likely to be a big factor: Granville Christian Academy have been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 37.8 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Liberty Christian Academy struggles in that department as they've been averaging 34.7 rebounds per game.
