Darius Rogers Turns in Season-Best Effort
On Friday, Heights got the W thanks in part to Darius Rogers playing the best football he has all season. Rogers rushed for 127 yards and three touchdowns on only six carries, and also picked up 142 receiving yards and two touchdowns, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. His longest reception was for an incredible 81 yards.
On the season, Rogers has caught 3 touchdowns while averaging 37 receiving yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he had two rushing touchdowns. This year he is already up to six.
