While LAMP didn't have the best season last year (they finished 9-12), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They were the clear victor by a 14-2 margin over the Carver Montgomery Wolverines on Friday. The Golden Tigers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matchups by six runs or more this season.

The victory (which was LAMP's third in a row) raised their record to 5-2. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Carver Montgomery, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-4.

Looking ahead, LAMP will face off against Billingsley at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Carver Montgomery, they will square off against Goshen at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
