There's no place like home for the East Noble Knights, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Wednesday. They slipped by Leo 33-32 on Friday. For East Noble, this counts as revenge for the 46-18 loss Leo walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2023.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead East Noble to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ellisyn Will, who scored seven points along with seven rebounds. Another player making a difference was Payton Quake, who scored five points along with two steals and two blocks.
Leo's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kayla Adams, who scored ten points along with eight rebounds and three blocks. Malina Lape was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with two steals.
East Noble's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-7. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.0 points per game. As for Leo, their loss dropped their record down to 11-7.
East Noble will head out on the road to square off against Fort Wayne Wayne at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Fort Wayne Wayne is coming into the game on a five-game losing streak. As for Leo, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Bellmont at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
