In what's become a running theme this season, the Ridgeline Riverhawks gave their fans yet another huge win on Tuesday. They blew past Bear River 77-20 on the road. The victory was nothing new for Ridgeline as they're now sitting on 16 straight.
Emilee Skinner was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 28 points and ten rebounds. She hasn't dropped below 18 points for 16 straight games. Another player making a difference was Elise Livingston, who scored 12 points along with three steals.
Bear River lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Shelby Wilkinson, who scored nine points along with five rebounds.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Bear River struggled to work together and finished the game with only four assists. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as Ridgeline racked up 17 assists.
Ridgeline's victory was their 20th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 19-2. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.0 points per game. As for Bear River, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-14.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ridgeline will challenge Sky View at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Ridgeline knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past 13 matchups -- so hopefully Sky View likes a good challenge. As for Bear River, they will head out on the road to face off against Mountain Crest at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Bear River focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 31 on Tuesday.
