Make it 11 blowout wins for the South Guilford HomeSchool Cougars this season. They took their contest at home on Thursday with ease, bagging a 58-24 victory over Surry HomeSchool. The victory was familiar territory for South Guilford HomeSchool who now have three in a row.
South Guilford HomeSchool got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Kassidy Bullins out in front who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 14 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Kailey Bullins, who almost dropped a triple-double on 11 points, 12 rebounds, and nine blocks.
South Guilford HomeSchool is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record this season. As for Surry HomeSchool, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-6.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. South Guilford HomeSchool will stay at home for another game and welcome Asheboro Hybrid Academy at 4:00 p.m. on January 15th. Asheboro Hybrid Academy will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps North Carolina Rankings (they are ranked 392nd, while South Guilford HomeSchool is ranked 161st). As for Surry HomeSchool, they will be playing in front of their home fans against South Charlotte T at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. South Charlotte T has now lost eight straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since November 27.
