Rock Port stacked a ninth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They blew past East Atchison [Tarkio/Fairfax] 62-29 on the road. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 36-15.
Rock Port had a senior duo take command as Bannack Skillen scored 17 points along with six rebounds and two blocks and Cade Makings scored ten points along with eight rebounds and six assists. It was the first time this season that Skillen posted two or more blocks. Corbyn Jakub was another key contributor, scoring five points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
Meanwhile, North Andrew got the win against Albany last Wednesday by a conclusive 49-27.
Rock Port is on a roll lately: they've won 16 of their last 17 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 18-5 record this season. As for North Andrew, their victory bumped their record up to 11-12.
