The Lincoln Lions''s recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fifth straight loss. They received a tough blow as they fell 24-7 to Leland. Lincoln was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Leland apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in November of 2022.
Diego Vasquez was the offensive standout of the game as he rushed for 80 yards and two touchdowns.
Lincoln's defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their overall record down to 3-7. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 4.7 points per game. As for Leland, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-7.
Lincoln does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Leland also has no future games currently scheduled.
