Harrisonville's tough 69-49 defeat to Summit Christian Academy might stick with them for a while. Harrisonville lost against Summit Christian Academy in their previous head to head back in December of 2021, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 44-35 score last time.
Summit Christian Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Carter Jeffries led the charge by scoring 19 points along with 7 steals and 6 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Mike Thomas iii, who scored 22 points along with 9 rebounds.
Harrisonville's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Summit Christian Academy, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Harrisonville will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Metro Academy at 5:15 p.m. on December 1st. Summit Christian Academy won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Logan-Rogersville at 8:15 p.m. on December 1st.
