The Westside Rams came tearing into Tuesday's matchup with six straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 20.3 points) and they left with even more momentum. They strolled past Greenwood with points to spare, taking the game 47-32. For Westside, this counts as revenge for the 32-31 defeat Greenwood walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2023.
Westside's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kiarra Gregory led the charge by scoring 12 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Gregory has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Ahrianna Scott, who scored ten points.
Westside pushed their record up to 16-3 with that win, which was their eighth straight on the road. As for Greenwood, their defeat ended a seven-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 17-2.
Westside will take on Easley at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Easley will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps South Carolina Rankings (they are ranked 91st, while Westside is ranked 15th). As for Greenwood, they will head out on the road to square off against Greenville at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
