Prairie has been on the road for two straight, but on Tuesday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Dubuque Senior Rams at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Prairie will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Iowa Rankings (they are ranked 119th, while Dubuque Senior is ranked third).
Prairie suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Friday. They were dealt a 85-37 loss at the hands of Kennedy. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Prairie has scored all season.
Meanwhile, Dubuque Senior can now show off six landslide victories after their most recent contest on Saturday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Milwaukee Bradley Tech 61-27 at home. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 29-9.
Prairie bumped their record down to 5-6 with that loss, which was their sixth straight on the road. As for Dubuque Senior, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-1.
Prairie was taken down by Dubuque Senior 68-12 in their previous meeting back in January of 2023. The match was all but decided by halftime, at which point Prairie was down 40-10.
