On Friday Alameda take on Bishop Machebeuf at Machebeuf at 3:30 PM. The team will be hoping to continue their now three-game streak of scoring more points each match than the last.
Alameda had a rough outing against Northfield two weeks ago, but a little bit of home cooking seems to have fixed things right up. Alameda were able to grind out a solid win over Valley last Friday, winning 51-43. The win was a breath of fresh air for Alameda as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.
Meanwhile, it was all tied up at halftime, but Bishop Machebeuf weren't quite Eaton's equal in the second half when they met. Bishop Machebeuf took a 0-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of Eaton. This makes it the second defeat in a row for Bishop Machebeuf.
Alameda's victory lifted them to 1-3 while Bishop Machebeuf's loss dropped them down to 2-2. We'll find out if Alameda can add another positive mark to their record or if Bishop Machebeuf can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Alameda's step.
