Eastside is 1-9 against Central Noble since January of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit  on Friday. The Eastside Blazers will be playing at home against the Central Noble Cougars at 6:30  p.m. Eastside will be looking to keep their 12-game home win streak (dating back to last season) alive.
 Even though Eastside has not done well against West Noble recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way  on Tuesday. Eastside secured a  58-52 W over West Noble. Given Eastside's advantage  in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings  (they are ranked 61st, while West Noble is ranked 336th), the result  wasn't entirely unexpected.
 Central Noble suffered their closest  defeat yet this season on Wednesday. They fell just short of Fairfield by a score of  38-36. The  loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Central Noble in their matchups with Fairfield: they've now lost four in a row.
 Eastside is  on a roll lately: they've  won 14 of their last 16 matches,  which provided a nice bump to their 19-3 record this season. As for Central Noble, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-9.
 Eastside came out on top in a nail-biter against Central Noble  when the teams last played  last Wednesday, sneaking past  50-48. Does  Eastside have another victory up their sleeve, or will Central Noble turn the tables on them?  We'll have the answer soon enough.
