On Friday Oriskany take on Pulaski at Pulaski Central School at 1:00 PM. Both of these teams will be looking for a pick-me-up after considerable defeats in their previous games.
If Oriskany were riding high off their 42-6 takedown of Cooperstown two weeks ago, that ride came to an abrupt end. Oriskany took a serious blow against Bishop Grimes last Friday, falling 28-76. Oriskany were down by 22-62 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
Meanwhile, things haven't been easy for Pulaski, and their match last Saturday only extended their streak of losses to four. They have to be aching after a bruising 24-54 loss to New York Mills. The state rankings had actually given Pulaski a slight edge heading into the game, making this hurt that much more.
Oriskany took the contest and then some with a 56-14 win the last time the two teams met over Pulaski. Will Oriskany repeat their success, or does Pulaski have a better game plan this time around ? We'll find out soon enough.
