Lauren Smith put up the most RBI she's had since back in March on Friday. As a matter of fact, she produced her best game of the campaign: she scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-4. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last four times she's played.

Smith's strong effort led Fernley over Spring Creek and she'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 1:00 a.m. on Saturday.
