7A District 6 recap November 5, 2013
Adding to the longest winning streak in 7A District 6 this week, Osceola beat St. Cloud 41-0. The victory was the seventh in a row for the Kowboys.
Lake Nona took down Harmony 56-7 last week, the largest margin of any game. TUCKER ISRAEL threw for 526 yards and 6 touchdowns and ran for 47 yards during the win.
RYAN SOUSA had an awesome week catching the football as Lake Nona bested the Longhorns. He caught 11 passes for 291 yards.
He went 30-37 with 1 interception.
LADERRIEN WILSON was the best running back in the league this week. In 7 carries, he ran for 79 yards as Osceola beat Harmony. Teammate DWIGHT FAGAN added to the ground attack by rushing for 62 yards.
Lake Nona's ISRAEL and SOUSA led the league in both passing and receiving yards. 6-1 quarterback ISRAEL has thrown for 3,151 yards this season, while SOUSA has 82 catches for 1,440 yards. Doug Nichols' team's WILSON leads the league in rushing yards with 655.
Lake Nona led 7A District 6 in scoring this week by notching 56 points on Jerrad Butler's team. ISRAEL ran for 47 yards in the win.
