Wallace's Gavin Rasmussen recorded the longest rushing play in 1A North Star (8 Man) this season in his game against Kamiah last week. Rasmussen scampered for 94 yards on the play and finished with 98 on the day as his team beat the Kubs.
Fans got a thrill when Jacob Berman and Brock Arthun connected against Kamiah. The connection was good for 81 yards, the longest such play in the league this season.
Wallace's offense cannot be tamed this season and the Miners feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Berman has thrown for 1,005 yards and 16 touchdowns this season, while Arthun has 17 catches for 581 yards.
An important game coming up in the league this week will be when Mullan takes on Wallace. The Tigers are in third place, while Dave Rounds' team is in first place.
The Miners led 1A North Star (8 Man) in scoring this week by notching 60 points on Ryan Ball's team. Berman threw for 282 yards and 4 touchdowns during the win.
