The Fairfield Eagles won the last time they faced the St. Ignatius Bulldogs, and things went their way on Saturday too. Fairfield blew past St. Ignatius, posting a 95-50 win on the road.
Despite the loss, St. Ignatius still got an impressive performance from Landon C walks over ice, who scored 21 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. The matchup was C walks over ice's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Lex LaFrombois, who scored 15 points.
Fairfield's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for St. Ignatius, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Fairfield does not have any more games scheduled as of now. St. Ignatius will head out on the road to face off against Arlee at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Arlee presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than St. Ignatius in Montana (Arlee is ranked first, while St. Ignatius is ranked 35th).
