While Jessieville's victory against Centerpoint wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Jessieville Lions had just enough and edged out the Centerpoint Knights 12-10. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Lions have posted since March 6, 2024.

Jayden Meredith and Daniel Dellis did most of the damage at the plate: Meredith went 3-for-4 with three doubles, two runs, and two RBI, while Dellis scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances. That stolen base marked the first that Dellis snagged this season. Another player making a difference was Kingston Morrow, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

Jessieville's victory bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Centerpoint, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.

Coming up, Jessieville is taking a road trip to face off against Atkins at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Jessieville is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.4 runs per game this season. As for Centerpoint, they will challenge Kirby at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
