Laramie was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from 10th to eighth in 4A. Earlier in the week, the Plainsmen triumphed over the Plainsmen 47-20.
Natrona County extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Walsh, 51-0. The win marks fifth in a row for the the Mustangs.
Natrona County's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. BRECKEN BIGGS threw for 185 and two touchdowns and AUSTIN BANKS had 46 yards receiving. On the ground JOSH FLANIGAN chipped in 123 yards. LOGAN WILSON helped Natrona County's passing attack out by catching three balls for 36 yards.
Natrona County's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Mustangs feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. BIGGS has thrown for 846 yards and seven touchdowns this season, while AUSTIN DUCELLO has 16 catches for 176 yards. FLANIGAN leads the league in rushing with 544 yards.
The marquee game in 4A this week will be the clash between Sheridan and Campbell County. The Broncs enters the game ranked seventh in the state, while the Camels ranks fifth.
The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when Steve Harshman's team takes on East. The Mustangs have allowed 41 points this season, while the Thunderbirds have given up 92. Natrona County allowed 0 points last week as it defeated the Trojans.
