The Greater Vision Academy Lions stacked a ninth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Thursday. They breezed by Lee Park Prep on the road to the tune of 80-36. Winning may never get old, but Greater Vision Academy sure is getting used to it with their sixth in a row.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Greater Vision Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Josiah Love, who scored 18 points along with five assists and five rebounds. Greysen McCadden was another key contributor, scoring 17 points along with six steals.
Lee Park Prep lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Brody Adams, who scored 12 points. Another player making a difference was Cole O' Donoghue, who scored nine points along with seven rebounds.
Greater Vision Academy has been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season. As for Lee Park Prep, their loss dropped their record down to 11-3.
Greater Vision Academy will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Winston-Salem Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Lee Park Prep, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Jackson Day at 7:00 p.m. on January 26th.
