Oswego East entered their tilt with Plainfield North with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Oswego East blew past Plainfield North 67-42.
Meanwhile, West Aurora had to endure a five-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They walked away with a 44-32 win over Oswego on Thursday.
West Aurora had a senior duo take command as Niaelle Evans scored 14 points along with 7 rebounds and Harmony Rush scored 7 points along with 11 rebounds. Brooklynn Johnson was another key contributor, scoring 8 points.
Their wins bumped Oswego East to 3-4 and Plainfield North to 4-2.
Oswego East came up short against West Aurora in their previous matchup back in January, falling 68-59. Can Oswego East avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
