That result was just more of the same for these two, as South San Antonio West also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2022.
Leading South San Antonio West to victory were Analisa Diaz-Deleon and Isaia Hinds. Diaz-Deleon scored 13 points along with 8 rebounds, while Hinds scored 15 points along with 7 rebounds and 4 steals. Another player making a difference was Angelina Coronado , who scored 3 points along with 9 rebounds.
When it comes to explaining why Luling lost, one person who can't be blamed is Skylar Dredla. Despite the final result, she dropped a double-double on 13 points and 15 rebounds.
South San Antonio West's win bumped their record up to 3-9. As for Luling, they have yet to win a game at home this season, leaving them with a 0-9 record.
South San Antonio West will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against Eagle Pass at 6:00 p.m. on December 12th.
