Timnath and Northridge faced off in a Battle of the Bears on Monday. The Cubs blew past the Grizzlies 15-1. The result was nothing new for the Cubs, who have now won six matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Timnath got a massive performance out of Bryson Dewey, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with two triples, five RBI, and one run. Dewey also hit a double, marking his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Dane Wyman, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI.

Timnath was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .379. They are 7-1 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

The victory made it two in a row for Timnath and bumps their season record up to 10-9. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.0 runs over those games. As for Northridge, their loss was their seventh straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-16.

Looking ahead, Timnath will host Mead at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Northridge, they are taking a road trip to challenge Poudre at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
