The Skyline Grizzlies and the Lakeland Hawks will round out the year against one another at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday at. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the pair will really light up the scoreboard.
Even though Skyline has not done well against Idaho Falls recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way last Friday. Skyline walked away with a 78-66 victory over Idaho Falls. Given Skyline's advantage in MaxPreps' Idaho basketball rankings (they are ranked 44th, while Idaho Falls is ranked 127th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, Lakeland didn't have too much trouble with Timberlake at home on Monday as they won 72-56.
The victory makes it two in a row for Skyline and bumps their season record up to 4-1. As for Lakeland, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season.
