Rockwood Summit will be defending their home turf for the first time on Friday when they go up against Fort Zumwalt East at 7:00 PM. Rockwood Summit have the odds in their favor, so they'll need to guard against complacency.
Rockwood Summit had to kick off their season with an away game, and unfortunately wound up with a long bus ride home. They took a 14-21 hit to the loss column at the hands of Parkway Central.
Fort Zumwalt East had to travel to play their first game of the season, and the final result was worth the trip. They captured a comfortable 43-28 win over Howell Central.
Fort Zumwalt East's victory lifted them to 1-0 while Rockwood Summit's loss dropped them down to 0-1. We'll find out if Fort Zumwalt East can add another positive mark to their record or if Rockwood Summit can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Fort Zumwalt East's step.
