On Wednesday, Beaumont was able to grind out a solid win over Indian Hill, taking the game 60-50. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Beaumont.
Payton Joseph was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 22 points and 11 rebounds. He hasn't dropped below two steals for 11 straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Josiah Morgan, who scored 12 points along with four steals.
Beaumont is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season. As for Indian Hill, their loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 7-1.
Beaumont is on the road again on Thursday and play against Mater Dei at 6:30 p.m. on December 28th. Mater Dei knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past 11 matchups -- so hopefully Beaumont likes a good challenge. Indian Hill won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Hoover at 6:30 p.m. on December 28th. Hoover is coming into the game hot, having won their last six games.
